The stray dog population in Sindh is quite large. There have been numerous reports of dogs mauling people including young children. Additionally, there has been a shortage of rabies vaccine in the Province.
PILAP issued a public statement calling for strict action against public officials within the Sindh Government and all local government bodies who have failed to fulfill their statutory duty in controlling the stray dog population in the Province and ensuring a seamless supply of rabies vaccine.
