Untreated Discharge into Arabian Sea

What’s at Stake

The Arabian Sea receives vast quantities of unfiltered municipal and industrial waste each year. This water travels through the rivers in Karachi and ends up in the sea. Not only is it adversely impacting the environment, but exposure to heavy metals, industrial chemicals and human waste is extremely harmful to human health.

Current Status

In an effort to claim Karachi back, PILAP is preparing to file a writ petition before the Sindh High Court against these dangerous levels of water pollution. Please support us in this endeavor by contributing to our Arabian Sea fund.
