The Government of Pakistan routinely receives gifts from foreign states. The gifts are the property of the state and are to be held on trust for the people of Pakistan in the Toshakhana. Amidst news that some of these gifts had been privately auctioned or sold, PILAP wrote an RTI to the Cabinet Division requesting information on the gifts and the manner of their disposal. On appeal, PIC issued an order against the Cabinet Division. The Cabinet Division has filed a Writ Petition against this order of the PIC.
